Artrade

Artrade (ATR) serves multiple purposes within the Artrade ecosystem:

1. Art Transactions and Community Engagement: - ATR is used to buy and sell artworks on the platform, with a 2.5% cashback reward for both buyers and sellers. - The token grants access to exclusive features, such as badges and special functionalities, and incentivises community participation through a staking program offering APY rewards.

2. Governance: - ATR token holders can participate in governance decisions for Artrade's DAO (Decentralised Autonomous Organisation), influencing platform development and strategic initiatives.

3. Sustainable Tokenomics: - A staking and burn program ensures token scarcity by reducing circulating supply while rewarding active participants. - Platform fees are used to buy back ATR tokens, maintaining demand and long-term sustainability.

4. Promotion of NFTs and Blockchain Adoption: - The DAO, supported by ATR, funds campaigns to educate and promote blockchain and NFT utility in the art world. It also supports emerging artists by acquiring their works.

Artrade was founded in 2021 by Paul Weibel, a long-time entrepreneur and art enthusiast with experience as an NFT art collector. The project brings together a team with diverse expertise:

• David Kubler (CTPO): Product designer and developer with a decade of experience, focusing on enhancing user experience and platform functionality.
• Martin Girard (Community & Marketing Director): NFT artist and web3 enthusiast responsible for marketing and community management.
• Léo Caillard (Artist Ambassador): A contemporary art and blockchain expert overseeing market positioning and strategy.
• Paul Weibel (CEO): Combines his passion for traditional art and blockchain to lead the project.

Initially launched on Binance Smart Chain (BSC), the ATR token migrated to the Solana blockchain in 2024.
