Arena-Z is a connected, multi-title Web3 gaming universe built atop Optimism’s Superchain. It replaces LOKA with A2Z, aligning governance and progression across titles. With a focus on seamless asset portability, fast interactions via AZ Chain, strategic partnerships, and player-led economy design, Arena-Z establishes a foundation for a franchise-style gaming metaverse.
A2Z serves as the core utility and governance token within the Arena-Z ecosystem. Its functions include:
- Purchasing in-game assets and services such as A Credits and NFTs - Enabling governance participation in ecosystem-wide decisions - Powering ecosystem incentives like developer grants and event rewards - Facilitating cross-game utility through quests, campaigns, and item interoperability
Arena-Z is developed by the team behind League of Kingdoms, now organised under 3MERGED. The transition to Arena-Z represents a shift from a single-game focus to a broader franchise approach, backed by partnerships with blockchain infrastructure providers, gaming studios, and Web3 platforms. Strategic collaborators include Optimism for blockchain scaling, NHN for game publishing support, and other partners for interoperability and security.
