About AppleTree Token
AppleTree is a blockchain project that connects ESG certification with token-based incentives. Its token, APTESG, is used for certification payments, staking, liquidity and governance participation. Built on Arbitrum, the system leverages transparency to reduce greenwashing and lower certification barriers. AppleTree was founded by a single developer and plans to transition to a decentralised governance model with community-led decision-making.
APTESG is the utility token of the AppleTree ecosystem. It is used to incentivise ESG-aligned behaviour, facilitate certification payments and support participation in the system. Functions of APTESG include:
- Certification: Companies pay ESG certification fees in APTESG and receive token rewards when approved. - Corporate rewards: ESG-certified businesses are eligible for annual treasury-based distributions and bonus incentives. - Staking and liquidity participation: Users who stake APTESG or provide liquidity to the network can claim rewards based on their level of participation and duration of commitment. - Governance transition: APTESG is designed to play a role in future decentralised governance, where holders will vote on proposals, treasury allocation and ecosystem changes. The token also underpins a burn and redistribution framework that is designed to strengthen the long-term sustainability of the ecosystem.
AppleTree was founded by a single developer who manages the technical, strategic and governance aspects in its early stages. While initially centralised, the project aims to evolve into a decentralised model in which APTESG holders direct decision-making.
