Binance announced that it will support the Rootstock (RIF) network upgrade and hard fork, which will take place on October 1, 2025. Binance to Support Rootstock (RIF) Network Upgrade and Hard Fork According to a statement released by the exchange, token deposits and withdrawals on the RIF network will be temporarily suspended starting at 7:00 PM on October 1, 2025.
The network upgrade and hard fork are planned to occur at approximately 8:00 PM, at block height 8,052,200. Binance emphasized that the exchange will handle all technical requirements to ensure a seamless user experience.
Furthermore, trading of tokens on the RIF network will not be affected during this period. Deposits and withdrawals will be reopened once the upgrade is complete and the network is confirmed to be stable.
Binance also noted that no additional announcements will be made at this time. While Rootstock’s upcoming update aims to improve the performance and security of the network, Binance’s support aims to protect users’ transaction security.
